”Let your imagination always have your respect.” Ten of the world’s most renowned artists share their best advice with aspiring artists. “I think that people are too concerned about not making mistakes, being right.” Jessica Stockholder emphasise the importance of focusing on the process rather than the final result. The late artist Pope L. shares the same view: “Knowing what you’re doing is overrated,” he says. George Condo and Michael Simpson, both painters, stress that you shouldn’t look away from the history of art, but instead get to know it. “Don’t sit in isolation and think you know. Until a few months ago, for the vast majority of people, “using AI” meant talking to a chatbot in a back-and-forth conversation. But over the past few months, it has become practical to use AI as an agent: you can assign them to a task and they do them, using tools as appropriate. Because of this change, you have to consider three things when deciding what AI to use: Models, Apps, and Harnesses.”

Sánchez criticizes employers for rejecting the minimum wage increase and demands that companies raise salaries: “Pay more” - “Business leaders oppose the agreement signed this Monday, which raises the minimum wage by 3.1% to €1,221. The Minister of Labor thanks the President for “always being on the right side of history.” The agreement, as reached on January 29, raises the minimum wage to €1,221 gross, paid in 14 installments, a 3.1% increase compared to 2025.”

France dumps Zoom and Teams as Europe seeks digital autonomy from the US - “In France, civil servants will ditch Zoom and Teams for a homegrown video conference system. Soldiers in Austria are using open source office software to write reports after the military dropped Microsoft Office. Bureaucrats in a German state have also turned to free software for their administrative work. Around Europe, governments and institutions are seeking to reduce their use of digital services from U.S. Big Tech companies and turning to domestic or free alternatives. The push for “digital sovereignty” is gaining attention as the Trump administration strikes an increasingly belligerent posture toward the continent.”

Bookmark this signal to watch for more changes around Agentic-enabled homespun software solutions combined with data sovereignty efforts eating away at enterprise software. Many of them still have substantial moats in terms of change costs, but let’s watch this space.
