Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Today, I made our first primer : Experiments for Seeing. These primers are simple activities to build common ground. The format of a zine that’s easy to produce and customize makes sense.
¡Gracias a todos los que habéis seguido mi vídeo en directo! Hoy he elaborado nuestra primera guía introductoria: «Experimentos para ver». Estas guías son actividades sencillas destinadas a crear un terreno común. El formato de fanzine, fácil de producir y personalizar, resulta muy adecuado.
This primer uses the content from three previous posts: How To : See posts, here (Defamiliarization, Ways of Seeing), here (critical museum visits), and here (empathy, humility in designing with others). I did a few rounds of collecting the content, editing it, and flowing it into a zine format.
Esta guía básica recoge el contenido de tres entradas anteriores: «Cómo...»: ver las entradas aquí (desfamiliarización, formas de ver), aquí (visitas críticas a museos) y aquí (empatía, humildad al diseñar con otros). He realizado varias rondas de recopilación del contenido, edición y adaptación al formato de fanzine.
During the livestream, I made a third iteration of the zine. It’s the most simple in design and content. You can download a PDF version1 and print yourself. I’m excited to hear how people use it. Next week, we will host the first guided walkabouts where we try the exercises. Block out an 30-45min on Wednesday after work and maybe Saturday. More details by end of the week.
Durante la retransmisión en directo, elaboré una tercera versión del fanzine. Es la más sencilla en cuanto a diseño y contenido. Podéis descargar una versión en PDF e imprimirla vosotros mismos. Tengo muchas ganas de saber cómo lo vais a utilizar. La semana que viene organizaremos las primeras salidas guiadas en las que pondremos en práctica los ejercicios. Reservad entre 30 y 45 minutos el miércoles después del trabajo y quizá el sábado. Os daré más detalles a finales de semana.
